A Jesus Mission

Help make A Jesus Mission a 100% free resource for missionaries.

So missionaries pay $0 for the care, tools, and protection that keep them healthy in their calling.

THE HIDDEN COST OF MISSIONS

Most missionaries don’t leave because their calling ends. They leave because the support systems around them break down.

Admin burdens. Inconsistent care. Under-resourced infrastructure. The Gospel Initiative exists to change that — permanently.

WHERE YOUR GIVING GOES

Missionaries should not have to pay for the care and systems required to sustain their calling.

The Gospel Initiative exists to change that.

Through this initiative, partners fund the infrastructure behind missionary care — so missionaries can receive support, protection, and long-term care at no cost to them.

Our goal is simple and specific:

To make A Jesus Mission a 100% free resource for missionaries.

When the systems are fully funded, care is fully accessible. When care is fully accessible, missionaries can remain where they’re called — healthy, supported, and present for the long term.

This is the promise of The Gospel Initiative.

“The Gospel Initiative will effectively provide missionaries with extensive access to needed resources like counseling and training while ensuring that the support they receive can be used solely for their life within their ministry. This is a call to bear one another’s burdens with radical generosity for the sake of the Gospel to go forth.”

AJM MISSIONARY TO UKRAINE

"My wife and I, along with our 3 children, were the first family to go into the field as AJM missionaries. After meeting Pierce, I was confident that we would have leaders that would care for us in a relational way. We have been working in Ukraine for 2 years now. Pierce and Diana visited us in Ukraine with their children. That was a huge encouragement for us. We experience unique trials in the ministry we engage in and there is no question if I need to call one of our missionaries in the field, or our leadership, that I can find support.

AJM is an organization that is willing to let people pursue God's calling in their life even if it seems unconventional. I appreciate their willingness to let people take risks and be led by the Spirit. And I also appreciate the willingness to pull people from the field when they are not in a healthy place.

Our family has been blessed to be a part of A Jesus Mission. We are blessed to serve with them in Ukraine. And we look forward to all that God will continue to do through this ministry."

AJM MISSIONARY TO CYPRUS

"Joining AJM was largely based on not just their value of care, but their priority to make Missionary Care available to every individual in the community.

I saw this immediately put into action to meet my needs of support and care. As I experienced others advocating for my wellbeing, I knew that would be part of my journey within AJM. While still being on the field, I can be a part of the care for missionaries that have been on the field long term or those that are just beginning. I get to be a part of “missionaries caring for missionaries.” When we grow tired from our own burdens, we can come together and lift each other up. Finding the strength to hold another’s bur- den while feeling the confidence that someone else is also helping to carry mine. All of us need the reminder that our mental, emotional and spiritual health all matter in our ability to actually fulfill the purpose God has laid in our lives."
