Anna co-founded The Broken Bones Collective and serves as a missionary doing spoken word poetry.
Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to tell people about Jesus. I believed in Jesus when I was a child and rededicated my life to Him when I was seventeen but, as I grew up, life invaded in all of its brilliance and brokenness. Through the struggles of a porn addiction, depression, and same sex attraction, God poured out His grace, healing, and freedom in rays of light that split my darkness.
Jesus has restored my voice that was stolen from me through the years of struggle, and nurtured in me that childlike heart for missions. Using my passion for writing, He has transformed my words and poetry from desperation to regeneration and has blessed me with the opportunity to declare the grace and truth that had rescued me and set me free!
Now, through The Broken Bones Collective, I am beyond blessed to be able to use spoken word poetry and the histories of my struggles and victories to make hope a little more tangible and bring dreamers back to life.
You are never alone in the places you feel stuck. You are never forgotten by your Father who loves.
