↳ Director of Gospel Trade School and Administrative Team
Joel and Manda were both raised in the church, were saved at young ages, and rededicated their lives to the Lord in their early 20’s. After they were married, their service in their church involved evangelism outreaches. After two years of marriage, they began seeking missions opportunities.
In 1986, they went to Japan as tentmakers. Teaching English as a Second Language provided the financial support allowing them to focus on evangelism through two churches. Returning to the U.S. four years later, Joel attended Seminary receiving his Master’s Degree in World Mission and Evangelism. They planned to return to the mission field as career missionaries. God had other plans.
After raising and homeschooling four children, they remodeled their home and opened an Airbnb. The Lord has also opened the door to missions once again. They are excited to be joining the AJM team. Joel will be Director of the Gospel Trade School while Manda will be working with the Administration Team.
