I grew up in a Christian home and by age 13 I knew that ministry was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I served in many capacities in local churches and as a short term missionary before God drew me to move to Kosovo in 2021. I joined the Newborn Brew team with a heart to lay down my life for the Lord and share the hope and life giving message of the gospel with the young people in the community.

Newborn’s goal is to create a loving and welcoming space for young people of the city to hear the gospel. In a culture where hopelessness is evident and Christians are few, we share the gospel expectant that God will make His name known and transform the hearts and lives of the people of Kosovo. My heart is to connect with, love on, and live alongside the people I meet as a testimony to the things that God has done in my life. Our prayer as a team is that everyone who walks into Newborn will feel comfortable to share, ask questions, and spend their time in a place that truly loves and cares for them.

My current role at Newborn is as the event coordinator. Since the beginning we’ve had a vision for how we wanted to use our space for building a community and bringing people together to further relationships and gospel conversations. Just having a coffee shop space is amazing but having additional times to meet together to share common ground, learn new things together, or just have fun opens up a whole new world of opportunities to share Jesus. God continues to bless us immensely with everything that He does through our events, clubs, workshops, and classes. And God has used me and my gifts of administration and creativity in a way I never expected! As I continue to make Kosovo my home and invest in my relationships I am excited to see what God is going to bring Newborn and myself. He is truly moving here and I am insanely blessed to be a part of it.
