Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I grew up in a Christian home where church and service were at the center of our household. I accepted Jesus at the age of 10 and by age 13 I knew that ministry was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. My heart is to see people come to know, love, and serve Jesus. Whether it’s a little kid experiencing the Bible for the first time or a young adult finally hearing Gods voice, my call is to share the Gospel and the hope of Christ with people that do not know Him. Because even through doubts and my struggles with pride and perfectionism I know that my job is to spend life loving and following Jesus with no abandon.
I currently serve in Pristina, Kosovo as a volunteer barista in a coffee shop called Newborn Brew. Newborn’s goal is to create a safe and loving space for young people of the city to hear the gospel. In a culture where hopelessness is evident and Christians are few, we share the gospel with the hope that God will make His name known and transform the hearts and lives of the people of Kosovo. My heart is to connect with, love on, and live alongside the people I meet. Day to day I serve coffee, bake treats for the coffee shop, serve my fellow teammates, and do life with my people. Our prayer is that everyone who walks into Newborn will feel comfortable to share, ask questions, and spend their time in a place that truly loves and cares for them.
