Missionaries to Basque Country, Spain
Jordan and Chelsey are preparing to move to the Basque region in Spain with their three kids.
Growing up in the Church both Jordan and Chelsey felt a call to missions early on. After attending Bible College, getting married, and stepping out by attending a missions training program in Hungry for 4 months they felt God call them home. After getting connected more with their home Church, going through multiple trials, and growing their family God has finally given them the green light to move forward onto the missions field to the Basque Country Jordan is currently the Youth Pastor at Calvary Fellowship Gig Harbor where they were introduced to the Basque people.
The Church has been hosting students every summer from the Basque country for the last 8 years. Through this time The Fakers have fallen in love with the Basque people, traveled over there many times, seen students come to know Jesus and so much more. The call is clear and they are ready to step out and move across the globe. The Basque people are considered an unreached people group. The Faker’s hope to begin sharing Jesus with people, discipling, and planting a church with the hope that one day a Basque person will lead their people. God has already done many things through the summer hosting program including building relationships in a specific town called Bergara where the Faker’s are moving. They are so excited to step out and see what the Lord will do in the Basque Country.
