I grew up in a Christian family and was brought up in Scripture as the basis and foundation of my life. I believed that God was real and accepted Christ into my heart at a very young age. As I grew and began to question the things I was taught, I needed to learn what it meant to choose God and have a relationship with Him on my own. I was lost trying to find purpose and meaning in the sins of the world. I thought gaining the love of my peers and perfecting myself would be the answer to my pursuit of contentment. The Lord was faithful to me and guided me out of a life of destruction from sin by revealing to me His perfect love.
God transformed me from being brittled with fear and insecurity to being fully confident in Him. I got involved as a leader in the middle school ministry at my church and God showed me how I can have an impact on kids who are going through the same journey of discovery I did. He grew my heart to share his love with each and every one of His children. We are all uniquely and wonderfully made and I can only hope to show people how much love God has for them.
This year I did a semester of Bible college in Israel, God revealed so much of Himself to me there. Since then I know that I don’t want to waste a minute of my life on something that isn’t benefiting the Kingdom of God. I am willing to go to any corner of this Earth to share the truth of the gospel, especially to the people who are suffering and need the hope of God. I am so blessed to have the ability to go and help where people need it and I want to do that as long as I can.
