A Jesus Mission

Ukraine Response

A Jesus Mission is serving on the ground providing aid and relief in Ukraine.

In March of 2022, a small team of about ten people left from their homes to make their way to Romania and Ukraine. They were only going to be gone for two weeks to see if they could be the hands and feet of Jesus for all who were affected by the invasion. They began by making food supply runs, showing kindness for refugees, and praying for the people.

Weeks turned into months, and AJM mobilized volunteers to drive vans of food across the frontlines into different villages around the country. Food became other supplies as we were able to work with local churches in Ukraine to tangibly show what it means to love your neighbor.

Two years later, A Jesus Mission now has a long-term team who still participates in providing humanitarian aid and emergency evacuations. But now, the focus has shifted toward long-term relationships and providing other means of outreach, such as English classes.
