Hope in a Hopeless World

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” 1 Peter 1:3

In a world with so much sorrow, pain, and suffering there seems to be no hope. People dying, betrayal, deception, affairs, abandonment, hatred, violence, greed, etc. The list goes on and on. There is no down playing the broken world we live in with the broken people inside it. We have ALL fallen short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

Yet, there is hope. Just not in this world. The living and breathing hope we have IS in Jesus Christ. Everything else will fail you and leave you unsatisfied if you are looking to be whole in your soul except Jesus.” But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14

If you are a believer in Christ, The Holy Spirit that lives inside you is the one that was resurrected from the dead. Think on that. You can get through this life because HE lives. You are in contact with the King of the Universe, and he is fighting your battles for you, praise Jesus! “The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.” Exodus 14:14

If you are not a believer in Christ, I beg you please become one. The Lord is so gracious and kind to give us relationship with Him and to wash our sins away when we don’t deserve it whatsoever. I don’t want you wasting your life away when you could have life in Him. I genuinely mean that with love.

Walk in the victory of Jesus Christ, because he already won the battle.

“By Your spirit I will rise

From the ashes of defeat

The resurrected King, is resurrecting me

In Your name I come alive

To declare Your victory..”

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

“Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
