Why it works

I recently received a message from one of my viewers who opened up about their life that said something like this: “my mom was raped by her uncle when she was 17, and I was misdiagnosed with adhd…I have tried almost all the drugs. The church would hate me, but I go to church sometimes because of God…I will not stand for the word of men about god, because it was a written by people who believe in pedophilia and racism.“
A study made by the New York Times found that 73% of people “share information because it helps them connect with others who share their interests” and 68% “share to give people a better sense of who they are and what they care about.” Just like the old cliché says, sharing is caring, and we tend to share a lot. There is a sense of protected vulnerability when we share online, especially when there is only a gamertag attached (personified name). For instance, my gamertag is cascadeofmisery and no one knows my real name unless I go out of the way to share it. It’s like how we feel comfortable sharing and expressing our feelings out loud alone in our car when another driver just made us really angry… I think you know what I mean 😉.
If there is a place where people feel more comfortable to express their true self, how can it not work? It’s inevitable! People will begin to share what’s on their heart.
That is why I ask for financial partnership– to enable myself to spend as much time as possible online to give our streaming neighbors a space to overshare their lives and where I get to use my giftings in ministry to reach into their hearts and offer real hope.
And what is crazy about my ministry, is that you can partner with me beyond financially. You, my reader friend, can always watch me in action. My main streaming link is—-
Twitch.tv/cascadeofmisery
It is there where you, my friend, can also watch, hit that follow button (it will prompt you to sign up) and live engage me and the fellow viewers.
If you want even more streaming perks and content, there is also the subscribe button that looks like a star on my channel. That part usually costs money but if you have an amazon prime account, you get a free subscription a month (you can ask me how to do that).
I want to thank you friends for partnering with me and going the extra mile to read these blogs. I am excited for this wild adventure in new territory in sharing the gospel.
