Hi from Bavaria
Our names are Carole and Joachim Stolz and we live close to Frankfurt Airport in Bavaria, Germany.
We are on the Missionary Care Team of A Jesus Mission and love to serve this fabulous and blessed family of believers. We love to use our gift of hospitality in the beautiful home that God has lent to us. But how could we do that without guests? So it is a privilege for us to have members of A Jesus Mission stay over, whether it is for a meal, an overnight, a few weeks or for the European Missionaries Meeting! We also entertain others here and our home has become a place of healing for people battered by life.
Between your visits we work in a self employed capacity. Carole is a Manual Therapist (a specialisation within Physiotherapy) and teaches in various European Countries. Joachim makes and sells custom made office chairs, giving seating solutions to people who would otherwise have great difficulty to work.
We are also active in our local church when we are not playing with our 3 beautiful and very young grandchildren.
Our kids are now grown up and have left the nest. But we see them often as well as their spouses and children. Both our kids and their partners love Jesus which is an amazing gift that we are daily thankful for.
In our spare time(!) we have set up an NGO called Hope for Freedom and taken on the fight against human trafficking, working in the area of prevention. Carole is also on the Operation’s Team of the European Freedom Network which is a network of over 270 christian NGOs in Europe fighting against trafficking.
Having followed the Lord for the last 38 and 35 years we are living the best life ever. Despite many highs and lows (eg house fires, health issues, business ups and downs) God has remained steadfast and faithful. He alone has been and is our Rock.
