Jamison and Shannon act as missionary care for the touring bands in A Jesus Mission
Jamison trusted God at a young age after growing up in a Christian family. It was in his teens, however, that he made his faith his own. In 2012, he and Pierce Westfall founded the music missionary band Cadence Please and spent the next two years touring the United States using music to share the Gospel. Wanting to continue ministry after stepping out of touring, Jamison interned at a church in Modesto, California and then met his wife, Shannon.
Shannon also grew up in a Christian home and, like her husband, gave her life to Christ in her teens. She led her first Bible study at age 16 and by the time she met Jamison, was leading a home fellowship group of young adult believers.
In 2017, Jamison and Shannon began working at a church in Folsom, California as the directors of Youth and Children’s ministries respectively. In 2019, they felt called to join their friends at A Jesus Mission to seek the lost and equip the found. Currently, Jamison is pursuing his B.A. in Psychology at William Jessup University, while Shannon is working on finishing her M.Ed in Teaching and Critical Thinking. The two of them are honored to lead and support A Jesus Mission’s team of music missionaries as they know how God can use music to bring the Gospel to a broken world.
